What is the sv_infinite_ammo Command?

The command accepts three arguments in order to determine the infinite ammo mode: 0, 1 or 2.

You can only use these three arguments, because using any other value won’t work. For example, if you want to activate the authentic infinite ammo mode, so you can shoot without worrying about reloading your weapons, you’d need to assign “1” as the argument, resulting in the following: sv_infinite_ammo 1.

Evidently, this is a cheat-protected command and hence you need to input sv_cheats 1 before using it. Furthermore, as a result of this, you can only use sv_infinite_ammo on private servers or offline matches, as long as sv_cheats has been activated.

How to Use the sv_infinite_ammo Command

Here is how you can use the infinite ammo command via console, so you can start shooting forever without worrying about buying new ammo:

• Press the “~” key to launch the console

• Decide what value you will assign to the command

• Input sv_infinite_ammo “X”

• Hit Enter

• The command will execute instantly, activating your preferred infinite ammo mode

All you need to do now is to replace “X” for the corresponding value of the mode you want to activate. If you want to activate infinite ammo without having to reload your guns, you need to use it like this: sv_infinite_ammo 1.

As we have previously mentioned, you need to enable sv_cheats before using the infinite ammo command, and here’s how you can do it:

• Press the  “~” to launch the console

• Input the following command: sv_cheats 1

• Hit Enter

• Now you can use the sv_infinite_ammo command without restrictions

It’s also worth remembering you can only activate this if you’re the admin of the match, otherwise it won’t work, and you won’t be able to use the infinite ammo CS:GO command either.

Activate Infinite Ammo without Reload

If you want to activate infinite ammo without having to worry about reloading your guns, so you can keep shooting them forever, input the command like this via console: sv_infinite_ammo 1.

Activate Infinite Ammo with Reload

If you want to activate infinite ammo, but you want to be able to reload your guns, you have to input the command like this: sv_infinite_ammo 2. You won’t have to buy ammo, but if you run out of ammo in the clip or magazine, you’ll have to reload. 

Deactivate Infinite Ammo

If you want to deactivate the infinite ammo mode, you only need to input the command like this: sv_infinite_ammo 0. It will take effect immediately, and you will have to buy and reload ammo as usual.
