Mirage Lineups

Lineup freshness. These Mirage lineups were last reviewed on 4 July 2026. 2 tracked CS2 updates have shipped since (most recently 4 August 2026) — including a content update, so it is worth re-checking anything that lands near changed geometry. We track Valve’s game files daily; map geometry itself is not yet in that extraction, so this is a staleness signal rather than a per-lineup verification.

Mirage Utility Sequences

The lineups below combined into standard set-pieces — the throw order, who they suit, and what each grenade buys. These are common versions, not the only ones.

A Execute

T Side5-stack

The classic Mirage A hit: three site smokes isolate the fight to Tetris and default, so the entry duels are ones you chose. Common variation: swap the Stairs smoke for a Stairs molotov when they anchor close.

Utility, in order: Jungle SmokeCT SmokeStairs SmokeWindow SmokeA Site Flash

  1. Group at A ramp and Palace while one player holds mid for info.
  2. Smokes land together: Jungle, CT and Stairs cut the site in half; Window blocks the mid AWP.
  3. Palace flashes over the site, ramp and Palace enter simultaneously.
  4. Default plant behind the box, then spread to Sandwich and Tetris for the post-plant.

B Apartments Hit

T Side3-stack

A three-player B take that works from solo queue up: both smokes are throwable on the move from apartments, and the molotov turns the strongest close position into free space.

Utility, in order: B Short SmokeVan SmokeB Site Molotov

  1. Take apartments quietly; count the site off the Bench/Van sounds.
  2. Short smoke blocks the Market window rotation lane; Van smoke hides the site cross.
  3. Molotov clears Bench, first two players clear Van and default together.

A Retake

CT Side3-stack

A standard 3-player A retake: cut the ramp, soften the closest post-plant spot, and re-enter from two doors at once so the defender cannot trade alone.

Utility, in order: CT SmokeA Ramp HEWindow Flash

  1. Regroup CT and Jungle — never trickle through the same door.
  2. CT smoke cuts T ramp reinforcements; HE softens the ramp post-plant player.
  3. Flash over the site from Balcony/Window side, take Jungle and Connector angles together.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best smokes for Mirage?

The best smokes on Mirage are those that cut off CT rotations and block key angles. Check the "Smokes" filter to see all smoke lineups. Prioritize easy and medium difficulty ones first.

How do I practice these lineups?

Jump into a private match or deathmatch server, and practice each lineup multiple times until you can execute it consistently. Start with easy difficulty lineups before advancing to harder ones.

What side should I use these lineups from?

Each lineup is labeled with "T" or "CT" side. T side lineups are for attacking executes, while CT side lineups are for retakes and defense. Use the side filter to find what you need.

How do I use the difficulty rating?

Easy lineups can be learned in minutes and are very forgiving. Medium requires more practice. Hard lineups need precise positioning and timing. Start with easy lineups in competitive.

Which Mirage lineups actually work in solo queue?

5 of the 15 Mirage lineups are marked Solo-friendly. Those are the ones one player can throw and benefit from immediately — taking map control, cutting a rotation or a sniper angle, or denying a position you are about to hold. Utility thrown into a bombsite to open it up for an entry is not on that list: without teammates moving behind it, it buys nothing. Use the Solo Queue filter to see only those.

Why are some lineups on Mirage different from other pro lineups?

Lineups can be executed from multiple positions with slight variations. These are commonly-used versions. Once you master these, you can experiment with alternative approaches.
