Overview

CSDB.gg is a free informational resource for the Counter-Strike 2 community. We provide skin databases, weapon stats, pro player settings, tools, and guides. No account creation is required to use any part of this site, and we do not collect or store personal data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views, session duration, and general geographic region. This data helps us understand which content is most useful and improve the site. GA4 may set cookies in your browser to distinguish unique visitors. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Cookies

CSDB.gg does not set any first-party cookies beyond those required by Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting services. Your currency preference for skin pricing is stored in your browser's localStorage only and is never transmitted to any server.

Personal Data

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data. There are no user accounts, login systems, email lists, or contact forms on this site. You can use every feature of CSDB.gg without providing any personal information.

Third-Party Services

CSDB.gg integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics (GA4): Anonymous usage statistics as described above.
• Steam CDN: Game item images are loaded from Valve's Steam content delivery network.
• PriceEmpire API: Skin pricing data is fetched from PriceEmpire, which aggregates prices across multiple marketplaces. No user data is sent to PriceEmpire.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them if you have concerns about how they handle data.

Local Storage

The only data stored locally in your browser is your preferred currency setting for skin prices. This is kept in localStorage and is never sent to our servers or any third party. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.

CSDB Companion Browser Extension

The CSDB Companion extension shows cross-market prices for the Counter-Strike 2 skin you are currently viewing. It has no account, no login and no tracking of any kind.

What is sent to us. When you view a skin on the Steam Market, your Steam inventory, a trade offer, or a supported marketplace, the extension asks csdb.gg for the price of the item name it detected on that page. The item name is the only thing transmitted. We do not receive your browsing history, the URLs you visit, your Steam ID, your Steam login, or any personal information.

What stays on your device.Your most recent inventory valuation is cached in the browser's local extension storage so the popup can display it instantly. It is never uploaded, and uninstalling the extension removes it.

Third parties. The extension makes no requests to any third party. Fonts and icons are bundled inside it rather than loaded from a CDN, specifically so that using it cannot reveal your IP address to anyone but us. Links to marketplaces are routed through csdb.gg/go, which may carry an affiliate reference; following one is the only circumstance in which you leave for a third-party site, and no personal data is attached to that redirect.

No analytics. The extension contains no analytics, no telemetry and no advertising code.

Children's Privacy

CSDB.gg does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, there is no age-specific data processing.
