How CSDBLE works
Pick a mode. You get six guesses and a search box that autocompletes against the real CSDB database — every CS2 map, every pro on a current roster, every org with a full lineup, and all 2,061 skins we hold a picture and a price for. A guess we cannot recognise does not cost you an attempt; a real one does.
Each wrong guess buys you something. In Map and Skin mode the picture zooms out. In Team mode the logo gains resolution. In Player mode — which has no picture at all — you earn one fact at a time: nationality, then role, then age, then the team. Solve it and the answer links straight through to that map’s callouts, that player’s settings, that team’s matches or that skin’s price history, which is the part a standalone guessing game cannot do.
XP, points and streaks
Guess faster, earn more. XP is awarded on the guess you land the answer on, reward points are weighted by how hard the mode is, and a streak counts consecutive days you solved that mode — miss a day and it goes back to one.

Where the answers come from
Nothing in CSDBLE is written for the game. Map mode draws from the 10 map identities behind our callout pages; Player mode from the 431 pros on a current roster in our pro settings database; Team mode from the 147 orgs fielding a full lineup in our esports data; Skin mode from the 2,061 skins we carry both an image and a live price for. When the data changes, the puzzles change with it.

- What is CSDBLE?
- CSDBLE is CSDB.gg’s daily Counter-Strike guessing game — a CS2 and CSGO Wordle. There are four modes: guess the map from a zoomed-in image, the pro player from four clues, the team from a pixelated logo, and the skin from a close-up of its finish. Each mode has one puzzle a day and six guesses.
- Is this the same as CSdle, CSGOdle or CS2dle?
- It is the same idea — a daily Counter-Strike guessing game in the style of Wordle, which people search for as csdle, csgodle, cs2dle, cs wordle or counter strike dle. CSDBLE is CSDB.gg’s own version, and its puzzles are drawn from the same map, player, team and skin data the rest of this site is built on, so every answer links to a real page with the full detail behind it.
- When does the CS2 Wordle reset?
- At 00:00 UTC. Every player in the world gets the same four puzzles on the same day, which is the point of a shared daily game — the countdown on each mode shows exactly how long is left.
- Do I need an account to play?
- No. Every mode is playable signed out, and your streak, stats and XP are kept in your browser. Signing in adds one thing: your XP appears on the global leaderboard, which needs a name to show.
- How is XP earned?
- Solving on the first guess is worth 100 XP, second 75, third 50, and any later guess 25. A failed puzzle earns nothing. Reward points are separate: a first-guess solve is worth 10 points in Player and Team mode and 5 in Map and Skin mode, and any later solve is worth 1.
- Can the same answer come up twice?
- Not until every other answer in that mode has been used. Each mode deals from a shuffled deck of its whole pool and reshuffles when the deck runs out, so a repeat is at minimum a full cycle away — ten days in Map mode, and years in Skin mode.
