CS2 Marketplace Fee Tracker
Marketplace fees are quoted everywhere and dated almost nowhere. This page is the running record: every fee change, payout change, shutdown and incident we have verified, in order, with the date it happened and where it can be checked. When one of our own published figures turns out to be wrong, the correction is logged here as an event too — a tracker that silently rewrites its history is indistinguishable from one that was never wrong.
Follow changes as they land: RSS feed · full current fee tables on the trading sites comparison.
How entries make it onto this page
An event is logged only when it can be traced to the operator’s own fee page, terms, help centre or live interface — never to another comparison site. Where an operator publishes no figure, that absence is recorded as the finding. Shutdown entries link to review pages that stay online as documented records, with DNS and WHOIS evidence where we have it.

Swap.gg suspends crypto payouts — EU bank transfer is the only cash route
Its Instant Sell page states crypto payouts are "temporarily unavailable" and that "only bank payouts within the EU are supported", leaving SEPA transfer as the sole way to take money off the platform. Trade balance itself has never been cashable.

Correction: SkinBaron's standard fee is 15%, not "8% with a code"
We previously repeated a widely-circulated claim that the public code ILOVESKINS cuts SkinBaron's fee to 8%. Its own price list publishes 15% standard, 7.5% on private offers and 2% at €999+ — no 8% tier and no such code. Its help centre describes fee-reduction codes only as individual partner and event handouts. Our comparison now uses the published 15%.

Buff163's own fee page has gone missing
The "Charging standards" article that Buff163's footer links returns page-not-found while the rest of its help centre loads normally. The widely-quoted 2.5% seller fee can therefore no longer be confirmed at source, and our table now flags it as unverified rather than operator-sourced.

Valve makes delivered CS2 trades reversible for 7 days
Trade Protection made every delivered CS2 trade reversible for seven days. Every compliant marketplace now holds seller proceeds until the window closes, which is why "instant cash-out" effectively disappeared from the market on this date.
