fps_max Command

Explore usage, syntax, and examples for the fps_max CS2 developer console command.

First, turn on the developer console. Go to Settings > Game Settings and switch "Enable Developer Console" to Yes.
Press the ` or ~ key on your keyboard to open the console.

Sets the maximum frames per second (FPS) your client will display. Use this to limit or remove the FPS cap.

Set your maximum FPS. Your FPS won't exceed this number. Use 0 to remove the limit.
