Best Cheap CS2 Stickers
Ranked by how many are actually for sale, not by a price we cannot stand behind
Cheap is the normal case: 43% of the 9,681 stickers we track are quoted under a dollar. The cheapest finish is Glitter, not Paper — the shiny autograph finish from recent Majors undercuts the plain one. For a cheap Holo, buy from the highest-supply Majors: the 2020 RMR sets, Paris 2023 and Stockholm 2021 all have Holos under a dollar with thousands of live listings.
Sticker coverage online is almost entirely about the expensive end, which gives a badly distorted picture. Most stickers in Counter-Strike cost less than a bus fare, and the interesting question at that end is not "which is worth the most" but "which can I actually buy four of, right now, for a craft".
This page answers that from our sticker database rather than from opinion — and it answers it without a price table, for a reason worth explaining first.
Why there is no price table here
Everywhere else on csdb we run sticker prices through the same filter before printing them: at least two live listings, not on a marketplace's hard cap, and not quoting a value that three or more different stickers share. That last rule exists because Buff163 converts to fixed dollar rungs, so identical five-figure numbers land on unrelated items — nine stickers all reading $29,556.50 is a software artefact, not a valuation.
At the cheap end that same rule breaks down, and it is worth being blunt about it. Hundreds of genuinely different stickers really do all cost two cents. Shared prices down here are the market floor, not a rung. Applied to the sub-dollar range, our filter rejects all but 2949 of the 4,150 stickers quoted under a dollar.
Rather than print numbers we would refuse to print anywhere else, this page ranks on the two fields that stay meaningful at the bottom of the market: how many are listed for sale and how many traded in the last seven days. Both come straight from our snapshot of July 13, 2026. Live prices are on each sticker's own page, and change faster than an article can.
The cheapest finish is not the one you would guess
Median asking price per finish, taken only over stickers with at least 10 live listings so the figure reflects a real market rather than one hopeful seller:
| Finish | Stickers measured | Median asking price |
|---|---|---|
| Glitter | 737 | $0.07 |
| Paper | 2,294 | $0.37 |
| Holo | 1,161 | $1.27 |
| Gold | 719 | $2.65 |
| Foil | 829 | $7.83 |
Glitter undercuts Paper. A shiny finish costing less than the plain one looks wrong until you look at where Glitter comes from. In our data it exists in exactly five Major capsules — Antwerp 2022 onwards — and is almost entirely the player autograph finish, sold in the era of the largest player base Counter-Strike has ever had. Supply beats rarity tier every time. If you want your craft to catch the light and you have almost no budget, Glitter is the answer, and hardly anyone gives that answer.
The rest of the ladder is conventional — Holo, then Gold, then Foil. Note how compressed it is: the whole spread between the cheapest and most expensive finish is a few dollars at the median. The five-figure stickers are a rounding error at the edge of the distribution, not the shape of it. See CS2 sticker grades for what each finish actually is.
Age sets the price, not the team
For tournament stickers, the single strongest predictor of price is how recently the capsule was sold. Same method as above — median asking price of Paper team stickers with real listing depth, by tournament, cheapest first:
| Tournament | Stickers measured | Median asking price |
|---|---|---|
| Austin 2025 | 9 | $0.01 |
| Antwerp 2022 | 165 | $0.02 |
| Shanghai 2024 | 161 | $0.02 |
| Copenhagen 2024 | 130 | $0.02 |
| Paris 2023 | 106 | $0.02 |
| 2020 RMR | 24 | $0.02 |
| Stockholm 2021 | 65 | $0.04 |
| Rio 2022 | 165 | $0.04 |
| Berlin 2019 | 145 | $0.17 |
| Katowice 2019 | 145 | $0.71 |
| London 2018 | 143 | $1.05 |
| Boston 2018 | 129 | $2.09 |
| Krakow 2017 | 97 | $2.65 |
| MLG Columbus 2016 | 68 | $3.82 |
| Cologne 2015 | 69 | $4.43 |
| Cologne 2016 | 52 | $5.09 |
| Cluj-Napoca 2015 | 63 | $5.11 |
| Atlanta 2017 | 57 | $5.91 |
| Cologne 2014 | 16 | $12.11 |
| Katowice 2015 | 17 | $26.90 |
| DreamHack 2014 | 16 | $51.16 |
| Katowice 2014 | 6 | $1078.44 |
It is close to a clean gradient by year, and the ends are absurd: the cheapest tournaments sit at a cent or two, while Katowice 2014 sits at $1078.44 for the same plain Paper finish. The practical rule falls straight out of it: if you are shopping on price, shop recent Majors. The same team logo from a 2014 capsule and a recent one differ by three or four orders of magnitude, and the recent one is the one you can buy four of. Our capsule index lists what each set contains, and most expensive CS2 stickers covers the other end of the same curve.
Cheap Holos worth buying
A Holo is the cheapest way to make a craft look deliberate rather than accidental, and plenty are quoted under a dollar. These are the deepest cheap Holo markets in our snapshot, ranked by seven-day trade volume — high volume matters more than a low headline price, because it means you can buy several without moving the market and sell later if you change your mind.
| Sticker | Live listings | Traded (7d) | Price band |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 Thieves (Holo) | 2020 RMR | 3,859 | 4,050 | under $0.25 |
| Evil Geniuses (Holo) | 2020 RMR | 5,030 | 1,502 | under $0.25 |
| FURIA (Holo) | 2020 RMR | 4,693 | 1,450 | under $0.25 |
| BLAST.tv (Holo) | Paris 2023 | 3,360 | 1,446 | under $0.25 |
| Vitality (Holo) | 2020 RMR | 3,669 | 1,421 | under $0.25 |
| Ninjas in Pyjamas (Holo) | 2020 RMR | 4,288 | 1,336 | under $0.25 |
| North (Holo) | 2020 RMR | 1,850 | 1,311 | under $0.50 |
| Heroic (Holo) | 2020 RMR | 3,571 | 1,169 | under $0.25 |
Note the tournaments those come from. They are the sets that were opened most, which is precisely why the Holo finish is affordable in them. 2,861 sub-dollar stickers in total have twenty or more live listings, so there is far more choice here than one table can show — filter by finish on the sticker database.
Cheap Glitter, for when Holo is still too much
Glitter is the budget shine. These are the deepest sub-dollar Glitter markets we track:
| Sticker | Live listings | Traded (7d) | Price band |
|---|---|---|---|
| FaZe Clan (Glitter) | Paris 2023 | 5,759 | 5,174 | under $0.10 |
| Fnatic (Glitter) | Paris 2023 | 3,785 | 4,106 | under $0.10 |
| Fluxo (Glitter) | Paris 2023 | 5,604 | 3,913 | under $0.10 |
| Boom Epicenter (Glitter) | 9,386 | 3,802 | under $0.10 |
| Boom Blast (Glitter) | 9,322 | 3,634 | under $0.10 |
| OG (Glitter) | Paris 2023 | 2,526 | 3,591 | under $0.10 |
The best cheap stickers for crafts
Team logos are the wrong tool for most crafts. A logo is a rectangle of branding; the community sticker capsules contain abstract shapes, flames, water and light effects designed to sit on a weapon, and they are among the cheapest and most heavily traded items in the entire game. These are the deepest markets of that kind:
| Sticker | Live listings | Traded (7d) | Price band |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hydro Wave | 14,712 | 10,178 | under $0.25 |
| Hydro Stream | 16,204 | 9,956 | under $0.10 |
| Bolt Strike | 14,568 | 6,593 | under $0.25 |
| Scorch Loop | 14,585 | 6,587 | under $0.25 |
| Boom Blast | 13,378 | 6,198 | under $0.10 |
| Scorch Loop (Reverse) | 16,228 | 5,761 | under $0.10 |
| Boom Trail | 14,962 | 5,547 | under $0.10 |
| High Heat | 21,433 | 5,310 | under $1 |
Depth is the whole argument for these. With five figures of live listings you can buy four matching copies instantly, at the same price, on any market — which is exactly what a four-slot craft needs and exactly what a rare sticker cannot give you.
How to choose one, cheaply and well
- Decide colour before you decide sticker. A craft works when the stickers agree with the skin, not when they are individually nice. Browse by colour: blue, red, purple and white.
- Buy from a deep market. Check the listing count on the sticker's page. Under about twenty listings you are negotiating with one seller, whatever the number says.
- Buy all four at once. Cheap stickers move on capsule news; splitting a craft over weeks is how you end up three-quarters finished.
- Practise on a skin you do not care about. Application is permanent — see how to apply stickers before your first attempt.
- Learn scraping before you need it. Scraping is lossy and cannot be undone; our scraping guide covers what each pass costs.
What cheap stickers are not
They are not an investment. The reason a Katowice 2014 sticker costs what it does is that its capsule stopped being sold twelve years ago and supply has fallen ever since — the full argument is on why Katowice 2014 stickers are so expensive. Nothing currently on sale for two cents has that property yet, and which capsule earns it next is unknowable.
Buy cheap stickers because you want the craft to look right. If they appreciate, treat it as luck. If you are buying to hold, the honest starting point is our skins investing guide, which is mostly about why most of this does not work.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the cheapest type of CS2 sticker?
- Glitter, which is counterintuitive because it is a shiny finish. Taking the median asking price of every sticker with at least 10 live listings, Glitter comes out below Paper — the plain finish. Glitter is the autograph finish on recent Majors, and those capsules were sold in enormous volume, so supply beats rarity.
- How cheap do CS2 stickers actually get?
- Very. About 43% of the stickers we track are quoted under a dollar, and roughly 20% are quoted under ten cents. Cheap stickers are not a niche corner of the market — they are most of it.
- Can you get a cheap Holo sticker in CS2?
- Yes. Holos from the highest-supply Majors — the 2020 RMR sets, Paris 2023 and Stockholm 2021 — trade for a fraction of a dollar with thousands of listings each. The Holo finish is only expensive when the capsule behind it was discontinued years ago.
- Why does this page not list prices?
- Because at the cheap end our price feed is not trustworthy per-sticker: hundreds of different stickers all quote the same few cent values, and the filter we use to catch marketplace rung prices removes nearly every sub-dollar row. Listing count and seven-day trade volume are the honest signals down here, so those are what we rank on. Live prices are on each sticker's own page.
- Are cheap stickers worth applying to a skin?
- For learning how crafts look, yes — a four-sticker craft with pennies of stickers costs almost nothing and teaches you how placement and colour work. Just remember applying is permanent and scraping is lossy, so do it on a skin you are not attached to.
- Do cheap stickers ever go up in value?
- Some do, when a capsule stops being sold and the supply stops growing. That is the pattern behind every expensive sticker in the game. But most never move, and picking which current capsule becomes the next collectible is a guess, not a strategy.
