How these are ranked
A daily board is one score per player for that day. Every game allows a single scored attempt at its daily, so the board is a straight sort with nothing to deduplicate.
A week, month or all-time boardranks each player's best single score in the window, not their total. Ranking on the sum would reward playing the most rather than playing the best, and would put anyone who found the unlimited modes above everyone who did not.
Unlimited runs are not ranked at all. An unlimited board measures free time. They still earn XP at a reducing rate, and that XP counts on the overall board.
The overall boardranks XP rather than score, because scores from different games are different units. Every game's XP curve is normalised to the same ceiling, so XP is the one number that compares across all nine.
Anonymous play is recorded but never ranked. Signed-out results are keyed to a hashed IP, which collides for everyone behind one connection — a board built on it would merge strangers into a single row.
