The Best CS2 Charm Patterns

cs2 charm patterns explained

There’s always been a love for the cosmetic in Counter-Strike. Let’s face it: there’s an abundance of skins, some of which can sell for thousands of dollars. This is a game which is all about the weapons – and there are now all sorts of ways that you can personalize your favorite weapons and add a bit of your own flavor – skins, stickers… and now charms.

The release of CS2 charms has been a major addition to the game – giving you a new way to decorate your guns… and what’s more, each one has 100,000 different variants, every one is unique, and each one is just slightly different from the rest.

Here, we’re going to look at some of the very best CS2 charm patterns out there right now – in our own personal opinion (maybe you agree- maybe you don’t). However, let’s take a look at those that we think are the best, those we think you’re going to love – and the ones we think will make the biggest impact with players and collectors.

So, without further ado, here’s our list of the best new charms!

Diner Dog

If you’re an animal lover (like us) and you are looking for something a bit retro and playful, then this is a top option. It has colors that resemble a classic retro American diner – yellows, reds and green – and it will look pretty awesome on whatever your weapon, especially if you have it alongside a bold and bright skin.

What we really love about it is its vintage feel and it’s perfect if you like a bit of an old-school look. Want to add a bit of nostalgia to your CS2 world? The Diner Dog charm is it!

Semi-Precious

Next, we have the  Semi-Precious charm, which looks like a beautiful, blue polished gemstone… ready to add a bit of class to your weaponry. This has been designed to look like a semi precious stone – adding refinement and class without being too OTT or flashy.

While it looks good no matter what it’s paired with, it goes really well with a metallic, sleek agent skin, as it adds an air of sophistication. It’s classy and minimalist and is perfect for any player who’s looking for a more understated look and wants to look fancy without looking OTT.

Lil’ Monster

We love a little bit of crazy – and that’s what we get with this Lil’ Monster design, which is cartoonish, colorful and exaggerated. It almost feels as though it’s alive and moving, ready for the attack. It has the look of a cute little creature just about to eat its dinner!

We love the cartoon feel of this charm – as it adds a touch of the whimsical to your weaponry – and when you use it with a bright-looking skin, you’ll have a loadout with a slightly offbeat and energetic feel. Want to add some personality and fun to your game? Then this Lil’ Monster has buckets of personality.

Lil’ Squirt

Another cute Lil’ addition to the charm collection that we’re rather fond of is the Lil’ Squirt, which is a colorful and cool toy water gun charm. Because it’s based on a toy, it’s bright, cute and nostalgic – filled with colors like blue, white, green and orange.

Because this is such a bright and colorful charm, in our opinion, it looks particularly awesome on other bright and colorful skins. So, if you want to add a sprinkle of playfulness to this serious game, check out the Lil’ Squirt!

Diamond Dog

Diamonds are said to be a girl’s best friend – and dogs are a man’s best friend (maybe vice versa) – so this charm is everyone’s best friend! This is a sparkling-looking gem of a charm that reeks of luxury and indulgence. With its silver finish with hints of blue and purple, it really looks like diamonds.

We reckon it would be great paired with a premium and/or metallic weapon skin, as it would give your weaponry a polished look. Its combination of luxury and pets makes this a diamond choice for all classy animal-loving players!

Titeenium AWP

Want to add some more weaponry to your weaponry? Then check out the Titeenium AWP, which is a smaller and sleeker version of that iconic AWP sniper rifle. As the name suggests, this charm has a Titanium-looking finish, which makes it look cool, edgy and futuristic. It has a green color with a little hint of maroon – and it’s the perfect addition for anyone who is a fan of the weapon.

Unsurprisingly, it looks at its best when you add it to your sniper rifle – and it looks even better if said sniper rifle has a metallic or techy-looking skin on it. Consider yourself a sniper? Then consider this charm a must-have!

Baby Karat CT

The CT in the name means that this one was created for the Counter-Terrorists – and it has been designed to look like a Counter-Terrorist. It has a dark, golden finish to it, which makes it feel classy, serious and dangerous. This has a really polished look to it – and it is definitely one for the more serious players out there… fun and cute, it isn’t!

Not sure what to pair it with? We reckon it looks best with the more subtle and sober CS2 skins as it will make you look cool and coordinated.

Hot Howl

This is a charm that has been inspired by the classic Howl skin – and is all about wolf and fire imagery. The bright yellow and orange color schemes – alongside the purplish, red and blue look of the wolves really make it a standout and somewhat aggressive-looking addition to your weapons.

Because of the wolf details, you’ll definitely look even more intimidating when you add it to your loadout – so if you’re someone who wants to look dominant, strong and fearsome, this will do the trick no matter what weapon you put it on!

Hot Wurst

From Hot Howls to hot sausages, we go from the sublime to the somewhat ludicrous… but in the very best way! The Hot Wurst charm is cute and interesting, with a strange, scared-looking sausage man that’s been set on fire… no wonder it looks so panicked! The cartoon figure is surrounded by yellow, blue and purple flames, which add a lot of color to this food theme.

Of course it looks great anyway, but it looks particularly impressive if you pair it with a bright skin – as it really adds a comic look. So, for the light, bright and fun players, this is a tasty option!

Baby Karat T

First we had the CT version of the charm – and now we have the Terrorist version – the Yin to the Yan. This is the perfect charm to complement the Baby Karat CT version, as it looks similar but has some differing details. There is a very distinct T-side detail with an edgy and aggressive looking blade design that has a bend at the end that makes it look sharp and dynamic.

Compared to the CT version, it has a slightly lighter gold coloring – which is one of the reasons it’s more expensive to buy. This lighter look also makes it look brilliant when you pair it with a tactical, dark skin. So, if you live a bit of Terrorist CS2 action – and want to add a mix of serious and playful to your weaponry, this is worth a look.

Other Top Charms

So, that’s our top ten list of charms – but here are some of the others that are worth a look!

Baby’s AK Charm

This is a charming little charm for your AK – and there are just a few different variants across the hundreds of thousands of templates. Lower charms have a red wood across the gun – and they get progressively browner the higher up the scale you go. They all look pretty awesome, though!

Backsplash Charm

This is a charm that adds a ‘back’ splash of color to your weaponry, with blues, greens and purples. The color variations and the way they stand out against the guns really make it a cool addition to a dark color skin.

Big Kev Charm Patterns

Big Kev Charms all look the same – with the same serious looking face, but they come one with one major difference – the color of the shirt. The colors vary depending on the scale… so it’s up to you how you want to add it to your current color scheme. Do you go for the pinky purple 65,000 or the cyan blue 85,000? Pick your flavor!

Chicken Lil’ Charms

There are lots of variations of the Chicken Lil’ charms, so there’s something for everyone. This one has highlights that change color – and there are 100,000 color variations available. The standard is set at 50,000, but they’re all cool!

Die-cast AK Charms

This will no doubt rise up on our list… as we reckon that this charm is set to be a firm favourite with CS designers and crafters in the coming years. This features an AK-47 that completely changes color – which means that it can complement practically every CS2 weapon skin in the game. The best one is definitely the gold Die Cast charm, which you’ll find around the 5000 charm template. However, all of the golden colors between 2,000 and 7,000 look pretty awesome.

Disco MAC Charms

If you want to get into the groove, then this glittery ball of gorgeousness is one to add to your shopping list. These Disco MAC charms come in all different colors, from blue to purple and any other color you can think of. With 100,000 templates, the variations are endless.

Glamour Shot Charms

This is a charm of many shades, starting at red as you are lower down in the sliding scale, up to purples and blues as you get higher and higher. The color is down to you. However, what they all have in common are the diamonds on the gun – the real standout element of the charm… which makes it awesome no matter what color you get.

Hot Hands Charms

Another charm on our hotlist is the Hot Hands charm, which is a gun-shaped charm that looks great no matter what one you get. This has excellent variations from 0 to 100,000 and is a bright pink color, which looks like a flame. The higher you get up the scale, the hotter those hands get!

Hot Sauce Charms

From hot hands to Hot Sauce charms, this sausage-looking character is dressed up in shades of reds, browns, yellows – all sorts. These aren’t for anyone looking to add a bit of prettiness to their weapons, but they are cheap – and they can really add a bit of spice to your weaponry!

Lil’ Ava Charms

Lil’ Ava has a combat vest that varies in colour… greens, browns and purples – and that’s all that changes, really. She’s a fierce-looking lady, a little bit hardcore – and she can add a bit of fearsomeness to your guns.

Lil’ Cap Gun Charms

This Lil’ Cap Gun is simple but effective. It has the shape of the weapon, and the same silver hue – but it can vary in the pop of color on its muzzle – yellows and oranges. If you’re a subtle player, this is a subtle addition.

Lil’ Crass Charms

Lil’ Crass is a bit of a mean-looking badass… who won’t back down from a fight. Whilst his face remains the same, the color of his bandana changes. It’s not necessarily the most exciting of changes, but it can add that pop of color to your weapon! Charm templates range between 1 and 50,000 and colors go from red to yellow, then green and blue shades as the number gets higher.

Lil’ Sandy Charms

Want to add a more feminine touch to your loadout? Then maybe add a Lil’ Sandy charm to your weapon. This is a big-eyed lady who’s ready for a day at the beach… and the color of her swimming costume changes depending on the number – between 0 and 10,000. It’s charming, sweet – but still adds a bite!

Lil’ SAS Charms

These are proving to be quite the hit with players – and we can see why. They’re very interesting! These lil’ guys are decked out in their army kit… but they have seriously big eyes, which can come in all different colors. It seems that most are opting for the blue and green-eyed ones – but there are some much rarer ones out there that are worth a pretty penny. It might be just the eyes that change color, but they are causing a lot of excitement in the game!

Lil’ Squatch Charms

This is a cute and weird Sasquatch-looking charm – and it’s quite charming in a strange way! You’ll be able to find these little guys in a pair of colored pants – and the pants come in all the different colors of the rainbow (and more!).

Lil’ Teacup Charms

Then we have a little man who seems to be dressed up like a Chinese teacup, covered with the famous blue-patterned porcelain look. The good thing about these is, because of the type of pattern, they look different every time, as each one has a completely different design. You can also inspect them before you buy them if you buy them from the team Market!

Lil’ Whiskers Charms

If you’re a fan of little kitty cats – and want the purr-fect addition to your weaponry, then Lil’ Whiskers charms are awesome. These cute cats come in all different colors, with lower on the scale starting at purples and pinks – moving up to green and blue colors. In fact, there are all sorts of colors with 100,000 variants of shades to choose from!

Pinch O’ Salt Charms

There’s nothing to get salty about if you decide you want a Pinch O’ Salt charm! These little men are very interesting to look at – with their eyes peeking out from a block color with little X’s all over the body – and Salty written in a salt dispenser up the center.  There are literally 100,000 templates to choose from – all with different colors. However, if you go for the 70,000, it looks a bit like a cactus – which is my personal favorite!

Pocket AWP Charms

These little charms are all about simplicity and trying to look tough. They’re not cute little people, sausages or animals, just the AWP in all its glory. However, it does come in all sorts of color variations (100,000 in total) – all muted and understated.

POP Art Charms

In contrast, we have the POP Arts charms – which add a pop of color to the proceedings. The gun itself is a standard grey/silver color, but there is a big ‘POP’ of color that makes it stand out – and it’s this that changes color through the different templates.

Stitch-Loaded Charms

We think these are going to be a big hit. They are underrated right now, but it won’t be long until players start seeing their ‘charm’. The weapon looks as though it has actually been knitted or weaved, giving it a rather interesting-looking texture – and you can choose what color the stitches are. You can get them in all sorts of hues… pinks, purples, oranges, greens and more!

That’s Bananas Charms

We’re literally going bananas for this one – and these banana men come in whatever flavor you prefer, the overripe brown to the ‘perfect’ yellow. There are thousands of colors on the scale, starting from fully brown but looking more like that canary yellow banana as you get to 10,000. If you like it slightly greenish, look for the ones at 90,000 upwards.

Whittle Knife Charms

These stylish little charms work a bit like the Baby AKs we looked at earlier in this list – and these knife-shaped charms can be found in colors varying from a light brown at the lower end of the spectrum, up to a more red wood color as you get higher.

Conclusion

So, there you have it – our list of the very best CS2 charms on the market right now… and there are plenty of different patterns to choose from no matter what your taste or budget. Whether you’re looking for a banana man or a diamond dog, there’s something to add some sparkle to your weaponry!

FAQs

How Can I Get a Charm For My CS2 Weapons?

There are a few different ways you can get your hand on charms. You can buy them directly from the CS2 in-game store, you can earn them by completing missions or in seasonal events – or you might get one by opening a case. You can get them by building up Armory Pass credits (as of the new Armory update in October 2024) and through various bundles and promotional events. There are lots of ways to add charm to your weapons!

Can I Change the Charm I Have on My Weapon to a New One?

Yes – charms on weapons are like handbag charms… you can add them and take them off as and when you like. You just need to head over to your weapon’s customization menu and choose whatever charm you want. However, there are some charms that can only be used on certain weapons, so make sure you check them first!

Will Adding a Charm Affect How the Weapon Works and How I Play in CS2?

No, these are purely cosmetic, which means that they will have absolutely no impact on how the weapon works – your performance or accuracy. These are there purely to make your weapons stand out and to let you add a bit of your own personality to your loadout.

What Is the Difference Between Missing Link Charms and Small Arms Charms?

These are very different looking weapon charms. A small Arms Charm is a charm pattern that is designed to look like a smaller version of a certain weapon (i.e. the Disco MAC charm), whereas the Missing Link charm is designed to look like a cute, quirky character – dog, sausage or person (such as the Lil’ Monster charm), that make great little gun buddies.
