Play inside the enemy's personal space — one step off a corner or door frame CTs must physically pass.

One blast at contact range kills through full armor; two metres further, plan on needing a second.

Use it on fast tight-site rushes where the fight is guaranteed to happen at arm's length.

Post-plant, crouch in the site's closest cover — defusers must come to exactly where you win.

Reload shells after every kill; seven rounds sounds like plenty until a retake arrives.

Accept the trade: this is the highest-variance buy in CS2 — devastating rounds and useless rounds, few in between.
