Let’s start by showing you how to mute people on CS:GO manually without launching the console:

  1. Press the Tab key
  2. Right click on the name of the person you want to mute
  3. Click on “Block Communication”
  4. Press the Tab key again
  5. Return to the game

This is best when you want to mute specific players only, and you can do it for enemies and teammates as well.

If you want to mute them all, you can do it via the console and here’s how:

  1. Launch the console by pressing the key “~”
  2. Type in the command: voice_enable 0
  3. You will mute all the players in CS:GO, both enemies and teammates

Now, if you want to mute and unmute people in CS:GO at will, you need to bind a key to the command and here’s how you can do it:

  1. Launch the console by pressing the key “~”
  2. Type in the command: bind “your-key” “toggle voice_enable 0 1”
  3. Mute and unmute people in CS:GO by pressing a single key

For example, if you want to use the key “Z” to bind this command, then here’s the command you’d need to use: bind Z “toggle voice_enable 0 1”. After doing it, you will mute people by pressing Z, and if you want to unmute them, just click Z again.
