mp_ignore_round_win_conditions
In both Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Counter-Strike 2, any player can toggle the in-game developer console and make use of commands to customize their gameplay for a variety of reasons. Say you want to practice smoke lineups and easily clip through walls to the location your utility should hit? There’s a command for that. Want your ammunition to never hit zero? You can make it happen too! And what if you desire for a certain round of gameplay to never end? Well you’re in luck, because that’s where the CS:GO end round command comes into play.
How Do You Use The Command?
To use any command in the game, you must first access the in-game developer console which is usually bound to the ~ key on your keyboard. In the event your keyboard doesn’t have this key, you can bind the console to open upon pressing any available button you have. After this, simply type or copy and paste the command “mp_ignore_round_win_conditions” to the console.
Before hitting the enter key, however, you must input either 0 or 1 after the command itself to toggle whether or not the server will ignore any win conditions for the round. A value of 1 will essentially put the command into place and make the round you’re currently on last forever. No matter what happens, even if the bomb gets planted and is detonated successfully, the round will continue. By typing a value of 0 after the command, the server will once again recognize win conditions thus disabling the end round command altogether.
When Can You Use The Command?
The command “mp_ignore_round_win_conditions” can only be used in private servers, not in official matchmaking or competitive play. Having this command accessible in a real match would prove to be catastrophic for the experience of those playing the game as it would make ending a round virtually impossible since anyone can just toggle the command on and off.
How Is The Command Used?
The command to ignore win conditions is usually used by players in a practice setting on their own non-matchmaking server. Making a round last forever takes away the threat of a reset once the in-game clock hits zero, allowing a player to freely roam the map as much as they desire. This is useful for practicing utility lineups and learning new callouts especially for complete beginners or veterans hit with the challenge of learning a brand new map altogether.
