Best CS:GO Glitches That Will Help You Win

Counter-Strike is one of the most known FPS games out there. The game continues to be one of the most famous and played nowadays. With that said, a game older than 20 years means there have been a lot of glitches alongside it. Some glitches can be completely useless while some can give you an unfair advantage. Most of the Counter Strike Global Offensive glitches have been fixed, but there are some glitches that players still use in the game.

Today, we will talk about the best glitches in CS2 that will give you an edge when playing the game. So, without further ado, let’s get into our guide.

Fast Laddering

Using fast laddering allows you to climb the ladders with maximum speed. It is essential to use this bug if you want to keep up with the rest of the players because this glitch is still working in CS2.

  1. To use the bug, you must face the ladder with your right or left side.
  2. While on the ladders, you need to look up and hold W+A (button for your left or right, button for walking straight) and climb the ladder at maximum speed.
  3. Then, you’ll be able to climb the ladders faster than the normal speed.

As you can see, it is really easy to perform this glitch. All you need to do is keep control of your keys.

C4 Teleportation Glitch

This exploit is not mentioned a lot, but it can be beneficial for your team if you use it. The C4 is the bomb you plant as a terrorist and counter-terrorists need to defuse it. There are specific places where you can plant this bomb. This glitch will make the bomb teleport to a different location on the map. This can confuse the enemy, or maybe even force them to change their position to a more disadvantageous one, and you can claim the victory easily.

So, to use this glitch you need a second person, preferably a party member who is willing to help you. You need to have the bomb as well. Then, the moment your friend goes to the A side or B side, they can leave the game and disconnect.

At this exact moment, if you plant it on the same site where your friend left, it will teleport to the exact location you were standing when your friend disconnected. This can change the location of the bomb to a different place where your teammates already are. It can even teleport the bomb to a more open location without any cover, which will make it extremely hard to defuse.

Edge Bugs

Edge bugs are really common in most Counter Strike games. Due to the existence of edge bugs, there are surfs that players can use in different mods and maps. This is one of the greatest Counter Strike Global Offensive glitches that you can use to your advantage.

To use it you simply need to land on the perfect edge of an object and receive no fall damage. That works because there are objects that let your character slide on them and reset its falling velocity due to tick-rate in the game and receive no fall damage.

Using this glitch can make a lot of different paths for you in the game. You can use it to flank the enemy or go through a shortcut for a specific place during rotation, or you can even use it to escape your enemies.

CS2 Fake Bomb Plant

This glitch is found in CS2 and still works to this day. The fake bomb plant glitch will make your character have the planting bomb animation without actually doing it. This can result in confusing the enemy, or maybe even baiting them to peak and try to kill you while your team is covering for you.

To use this glitch, first, you need to enable your developer console. After launching the game and opening the console, you can use the following config bind n “+attack;-attack;slot5” and press enter. Then, equip your knife in the game and hold the N button. This will make your character use the plant animation if you have the bomb. You can even jump while doing it. Using this glitch seems funny and unharmful, but it can reward you with a lot of round wins. It can be confusing for the enemy to see you during the plant animation but not planting it and even moving. It can greatly benefit your team.

CS2 Wall Glitch

The wall glitch in CS2 works more like a cheat than just a silly bug, but it’s still a feature of the game. So, what this glitch doing for you is that allows you to see through certain walls after doing specific actions. To do the glitch, your character needs to face a wall. It doesn’t work on every wall, but there are a lot of them that work with the glitch.

When your character stands still, you need to use your normal attack with the knife, and immediately switch to bomb and plant, which will make your character crouch and go inside the wall. Therefore, you can see enemies through walls. This information can greatly benefit you or your team. You can ambush enemies, flank them, or camp them with a sniper or a shotgun. Seeing enemies through some walls is a really powerful gimmick that will let you win a big amount of games.

Bunny Hopping in CS2

Bhop, also known as Bunny Hop comes originally from a CS source. It works in every Counter-Strike game and is even used for some different game modes and maps. It originally was found as a glitch in the engine code. The bug allows the player to perform perfect consecutive jumps with the combination of turning to a certain degree angle with the A or D button in midair while maintaining and gaining more speed.

This will allow you to travel extremely quickly around the map, chase enemies, escape them, or even outplay them with a flank. Although it is a bug, bunny hopping is an actual mechanic people use a lot. It is made harder to perform in CS2 but still will reward you greatly.

To use the glitch you can preferably have a config that binds your jump to a mouse wheel, so it can be easier if you prefer using it for jumps. To master bunny hopping, you need to practice it because it takes a lot of exercise and patience. To start with it, your character needs to hold the knife, then run and jump. The moment you are in the air, let go of your W key (or the one you are using to move straight) and press either the A or D button (or the ones you use to move left and right), then move your mouse around 70% degrees the same way as the button you pressed, either left or right.

After you do that, once your character lands on the ground, you need to jump and time it perfectly to maintain your speed. If you time it perfectly you will not even hear the landing animation of the character. Then, just keep jumping and rotating between the left and right keys followed by the movement of the mouse in the same direction. Your speed with a knife is 250, and while bunny hopping, when you touch the ground your speed is reset to 275, but you can gain even more speed while you are in the air.

Conclusion

Many Counter Strike Global Offensive glitches can help you gain some edge in the game. Using a glitch or a bug is considered exploiting, but it’s a feature of the game. Note that a lot of glitches and bugs have been fixed. Although CS2 is fairly new, more glitches will be found and the existing ones can be fixed.

The only bug that is confirmed officially from Valve to be an extension to the game is Bunny Hop. So it’s safe to assume that this won’t get fixed or changed at all. Exploiting a glitch can be beneficial not only for you but for your whole team. But you still need to not force it that much and use them wisely. Also please note that some of the glitches can be fixed or removed and some of them can stay in the game for a long time. So, it’s better to keep yourself updated about the new and existing glitches. Good luck!
