xellow CS2 Settings: Full Config, Crosshair & Peripherals

Adrian “XELLOW” Guță is a professional player from Romania, currently playing under Nexus Gaming as a primary AWPer. Before joining Nexus, XELLOW has played for several other teams such as ECSTATIC and Sprout, but unfortunately hasn’t had his big break in Tier 1 Counter-Strike yet. Still, he is a solid AWPer and you might learn a thing or two from his CS2 settings and peripherals.

The first section of this article will go through all of XELLOW’s Counter-Strike settings. 

Mouse Settings

We must remember that XELLOW is primarily an AWPer, and snipers must have good mouse settings that enable them to hit those flicks:

  • DPI: 400
  • Mouse Sensitivity: 2
  • Effective DPI (eDPI): 800
  • Zoom Sensitivity: 1
  • Hz: 2000
  • Windows Sensitivity: 6

 

XELLOW is using a mouse DPI value of 400, but has chosen to increase it with a mouse sensitivity of 2. This puts his effective DPI at a nice and clean 800, which falls around the average of Counter-Strike pros. These are the same settings as other AWPers such as ZywOo and device. 

Crosshair Settings

Though XELLOW is an AWPer, he must still pick up the rifle or pistol from time to time, so having a good crosshair is essential to keep up with the best:

XELLOW is using a very large crosshair with a crosshair length value of 3, which is way bigger than what an average professional player uses. However, he has shrunk his crosshair with a crosshair thickness of 1 and gap of -3. He has also chosen green as his crosshair color of choice.

Viewmodel Settings

Now, we’re going to check out what viewmodel settings XELLOW is using. The viewmodel is important for AWPers since the weapon takes up so much space on your screen:

Unfortunately, XELLOW has not revealed too many of his advanced video settings, but we can assume from what we have that he chooses to play Counter-Strike on lower video settings. This is likely because he is prioritizing performance over graphics, which is much more important when you’re competing professionally.
