Twistzz CS2 Settings: Full Config & Crosshair
Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken is one of the most celebrated North American Counter-Strike players and is the most successful product of his region.
Known as one of the greatest aimers in the game, Twistzz used his individual prowess to win the PGL Antwerp Major in 2022 and an Intel Grand Slam in 2019. He is currently playing for Team Liquid after a three-year tenure at FaZe Clan.
If you want to hit some crisp, clean headshots like Mr. Van Dulken, try out his Counter-Strike: 2 settings below!
Twistzz Mouse Settings
The Canadian is rocking a Razer Viper V3 Pro White as his mouse of choice. Here are the mouse settings he pairs up with his Razer gear:
Mouse Settings | Value |
DPI | 400 |
Sensitivity | 1.7 |
Effective DPI (eDPI) | 680 |
Zoom Sensitivity | 1.00 |
Hz | 2000 |
Windows Sensitivity | 6 |
Twistzz has one of the lowest effective DPIs in the entire professional scene, meaning he is playing on incredibly low mouse sensitivity. His sensitivity makes sense, as players with high headshot percentages heavily rely on precise mouse movements.
Twistzz Crosshair Settings
A crosshair is vital for players to have good aim. If you want to mimic Twistzz’s aim, here are his crosshair settings:
Crosshair Setting | Value |
Style | Classic Static |
Follow Recoil | No |
Dot | No |
Length | 2 |
Thickness | 0 |
Gap | -4 |
Outline | No |
Color | Green |
Sniper Width | 0 |
He is using a relatively standard-sized crosshair, and using the common color choice: green. However, Twistzz’s crosshair does not have a gap, which is something that goes against the norm.
Twistzz Crosshair Code
To try this crosshair immediately, import the code below in your in-game crosshair settings:

Twistzz Viewmodel Settings
A viewmodel is important to help you see your screen properly. If you’re unsure of what viewmodel settings to use, try out Twistzz’s as a reference:
Viewmodel Setting | Value |
FOV | 68 |
Offset X | 2.5 |
Offset Y | 0 |
Offset Z | -1.5 |
Presetpos | 3 |
Overall, Twistzz uses a very standard viewmodel, with the highest field of view value: 68. There’s nothing too crazy about his viewmodel choice, as the majority of players are using the same thing.
Twistzz Viewmodel Config
To try this viewmodel immediately, copy and paste the following set of commands to your developer console:
viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 0; viewmodel_offset_z -1.5; viewmodel_presetpos 3; |
Twistzz Launch Options
Launch options aren’t too essential to copy, but if you’re a hardcore Twistzz fan, here are the launch commands he uses:
-novid -tickrate 128 -allow_third_party_software |
Surprisingly, Twistzz does not have that many launch options enabled.
Twistzz Video Settings
If you want to see exactly what Twistzz sees on his screen, copying his video settings is what you should be looking to do.
Twistzz Resolution and Aspect Ratio
The most important video settings are the resolution and aspect ratio. Here is what Twistzz uses:
Video Setting | Value |
Resolution | 1280×960 |
Aspect Ratio | 4:3 |
Scaling Mode | Stretched |
Brightness | 93% |
Fullscreen | Fullscreen |
Like the majority of the professional scene, Twistzz uses a stretched display, meaning an aspect ratio of 4:3. He is also using the most common resolution for stretched players, 1280×960. Twistzz had been using a 16:9 aspect ratio for the longest time, and switched not too long ago.
Twistzz Advanced Video Settings
Additionally, you can also mimic Twistzz’s advanced video settings if you’re on a low-performing setup:
Video Setting | Value |
Boost Player Contrast | Disabled |
Wait for Vertical Sync | Disabled |
Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode | 8x MSAA |
Global Shadow Quality | Medium |
Model / Texture Detail | Low |
Texture Filtering Mode | Bilinear |
Shader Detail | Low |
Particle Detail | Low |
Ambient Occlusion | Medium |
High Dynamic Range | Quality |
FidelityFX Super Resolution | Disabled (Highest Quality) |
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency | Disabled |
Despite being hooked up with the best gaming gear on the market, Twistzz is still using relatively low video settings. It goes to show that professionals need every bit of FPS for a smooth experience.
Twistzz Radar Settings
The radar is an important tool to gather information. Learn how the professionals use it effectively using the radar settings Twistzz is using:
Radar Setting | Value |
Radar Centers Player | Yes |
Radar is Rotating | Yes |
Toggle Shape With Scoreboard | Yes |
Radar HUD Size | 1 |
Radar Map Zoom | 0.7 |
Radar settings entirely come down to personal preference, and Twistzz likes his radar rotating at all times. Nothing wrong with that.
