Aleksib CS2 Settings: Full Config, Crosshair & Peripherals

Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Finland, currently under Natus Vincere. Aleksi is regarded as one of the smartest in-game leaders the game has ever seen. Despite a rough career, Aleksi finally found his stride in Na’Vi, where he won the first CS2 Major. Here are all of his professional CS2 settings and peripherals!

Aleksib CSGO Settings

First of all, let’s go over Aleksib’s CS2 settings.

Mouse Settings

Aleksib isn’t known for potent aim, but he still frags out consistently despite having to watch the minimap most of the time. Here are the mouse settings that enables him to do that:

  • DPI: 800
  • Mouse Sensitivity: 1.05
  • Effective DPI (eDPI): 840
  • Zoom Sensitivity: 0.95
  • Hz: 1000
  • Windows Sensitivity: 6

Aleksib uses a mouse DPI of 800 and an in-game sensitivity of 1.05, totaling his eDPI to 840. This eDPI is just slightly above the average of professional CS2 riflers, so there’s nothing too crazy about his mouse settings.

Crosshair Settings

The crosshair is another tool you might want to consider copying, as it directly impacts your ability to aim. Here is what veteran IGL Aleksib is running:

  • Style: Classic Static
  • Follow Recoil: No
  • Dot: No
  • Length: 2
  • Thickness: 0.5
  • Gap: -3
  • Outline: No
  • Color: Cyan
  • Red: 50
  • Green: 250
  • Blue: 50
  • Alpha: Yes
  • Alpha Value: 200
  • T Style: No
  • Deployed Weapon Gap: No
  • Sniper Width: 0

Aleksib is using a thin, cyan crosshair. The lines find the sweet spot, as they aren’t too lengthy or too short. Overall, Aleksib is rocking a very standard crosshair that you can try out for yourself

You can copy Aleksib’s crosshair immediately by copying the crosshair code below:

Viewmodel Settings

The next thing we’ll look at is Aleksib’s viewmodel settings. If you want your weapon and hand to be located like Aleksib’s, feel free to try out these settings below:

  • Field of View (FOV): 68
  • Offset X: 2.5
  • Offset Y: 0
  • Offset Z: -1.5
  • Presetpos: 2

Aleksib is using a very standard viewmodel with the maximum FOV value of 68. Most professional players use this exact crosshair, so it is definitely a safe one to try out.

You can copy Aleksib’s viewmodel settings immediately by copying the following viewmodel commands:

Viewmodel Config (Copy and Paste)
viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 0; viewmodel_offset_z -1.5; viewmodel_presetpos 2;

Video Settings

Now that we’ve talked about Aleksib’s primary game settings, let’s take a brief look at his video settings.

Video

The first group of video settings will feature Aleksib’s aspect ratio and resolution, which are the two most important settings:

  • Resolution: 1440×1080
  • Aspect Ratio: 4:3
  • Scaling Mode: Stretched
  • Brightness: 85%
  • Display Mode: Fullscreen

Like most professional players, Aleksib is using the 4:3 aspect ratio and a stretched scaling mode. However, he differs by choosing the 1440×1080 resolution over the popular 1280×960, making his settings a little unique. Additionally, he has very low brightness at 85%.

Advanced Video

If you want to mimic all of Aleksib’s video settings, here are his advanced video settings:

  • Enable Player Contrast: Enabled
  • V-Sync: Disabled
  • Maximum FPS In Game: 400
  • Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode: 2x MSAA
  • Global Shadow Quality: High
  • Model / Texture Detail: Low
  • Texture Filtering Mode: Bilinear
  • Shader Detail: High

Overall, Aleksib prefers playing on lower video settings, aiming to get as many frames per second as possible to maximize his performance potential. When you’re competing at the highest level, you’ll need every frame you can get.
