When players look to practice particular aspects of CSGO, such as aim training or grenade lineups, they often load into a bot match where they can use practice commands.
The commands to give players infinite ammunition and grenades are among the game’s most useful practice commands. In this article, we’ll explain all the infinite commands you need to know and show you how to use them!
What Are The Infinite Ammo And Grenade Commands?
Getting straight to the point, here are all the commands related to infinite ammo and grenades in CSGO!
CSGO Infinite Ammo Command
There are two types of infinite ammo commands that serve slightly different purposes.
sv_infinite_ammo 1
This is the primary infinite ammo command in CSGO. When this command is enabled, players are given infinite ammunition, not needing to reload at all. Spraying an AK-47 will keep your bullet count at 30/90.
sv_infinite_ammo 2
This is the secondary infinite ammo command in CSGO. When this command is enabled, players are given infinite ammunition, but they will need to reload after every magazine runs out. Spraying 30 bullets of an AK-47 will force players to reload, but the reserve bullet count will never drop below 90.
The second version of the sv_infinite_ammo command is best used for players looking to practice their spray control.
CSGO Infinite Grenades Command
Getting infinite grenades requires the same command for infinite ammo. However, an additional command allows players to carry the maximum number of grenades at once.
sv_infinite_ammo 1 / sv_infinite_ammo 2
Similar to infinite ammo, getting infinite grenades uses the same set of commands. Since grenades do not have to be reloaded, the version of the sv_infinite_ammo command does not matter.
ammo_grenade_limit_total 5
In a regular competitive game, players can carry a maximum of four grenades at a time. Since the game has five types of grenades, it’s impossible to carry them all.
However, using this grenade console command will change the maximum grenade capacity to five, meaning you can carry every grenade simultaneously.
How To Enable The Infinite Ammo And Grenade Commands?
Now that we’ve learned all the related commands, it’s time to apply our knowledge and figure out how to use them.
Step 1: Enable The Developer Console
Since everything discussed earlier are console commands, the infinite ammo and grenade commands cannot be used without the developer console. So, the first step is to ensure you can open the developer console.
To enable the CSGO console, follow the steps below:
- Launch your Counter-Strike client and go to the Settings menu.
- Specifically, make your war to the Game Settings.
- The option reading “Enable Developer Console” should be one of the first ones on the list.
- Next to the option, change the setting from “No” to “Yes”.
Once you have completed the steps, try pressing your “~” key to open the console.
Step 2: Load Into A Private Bot Match
If the console is set up, we have all the resources to activate the infinite ammo and grenade commands. However, these commands can only be used on a private server and cannot be enabled in public matchmaking games.
Therefore, the next step is to load into an offline match:
- On your CSGO main menu, click on the Play button.
- Instead of Matchmaking, select Practice.
- Choose whichever game mode you’d like to play on and pick a map.
You can proceed to the next step when you have successfully loaded into the private match.
Step 3: Enable Cheats In The Server
There is one final step before we can use the set of commands. Because the infinite grenade and ammo commands are considered cheats, we must first enable cheats in the private server.
Don’t worry! Enabling cheats won’t take longer than ten seconds:
- Open the console by pressing the “~” button on your keyboard.
- Next, type “sv_cheats 1” and press Enter.
And that’s it. Cheats will be enabled, and we can finally use the infinite commands in the game.
Step 4: Input The Infinite Ammo And Grenade Commands
We can now type the infinite ammo and grenade commands into our developer console.
Here is how you can do that:
- Open the console by pressing the “~” button on your keyboard.
- Then, type the infinite command, either “sv_infinite_ammo 1” or “sv_infinite_ammo 2” and press Enter.
- Finally, use the CSGO infinite grenades command, “ammo_grenade_limit_total 5” and press Enter.
After following all the steps, you will notice that your bullets and grenades never run out. This allows you to practice game mechanics without having to get a new weapon every minute.
If you wish to turn the infinite ammo commands off, type in the command “sv_infinite_ammo 0” to revert the server to limited bullets.
