HooXi CS2 Settings: Full Config, Crosshair & Peripherals

Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Denmark, currently a free agent. However, he was mostly known for his time under Copenhagen Flames and most importantly, G2 Esports. HooXi proved himself as one of the most intelligent in-game leaders out there, so if you want to lead a pack of troops like him, consider copying his CS2 settings and peripherals.

HooXi Mouse Settings

Though he might not be the most effective fragger, HooXi shoulders some of the hardest roles in Counter-Strike, but still manages to find impact. Check out the mouse settings he uses.

Mouse Settings Value
DPI 800
Sensitivity 0.9
Effective DPI (eDPI) 720
Zoom Sensitivity 1
Hz 2000
Windows Sensitivity  6

HooXi uses a standard DPI value of 800, but chose to decrease it with a mouse sensitivity of 0.9, meaning his effective DPI sits at 720. Overall, this eDPI definitely falls under the average of professionals, since most riflers play on this range for slow, but stable mouse movement.

HooXi Crosshair Settings

Another essential tool to becoming a fragging in-game leader like HooXi is a good crosshair. Here are the crosshair settings HooXi is currently using.

Crosshair Setting Value
Style Classic Static
Follow Recoil No
Dot No
Length 1.5
Thickness 0
Gap -3
Outline No
Color Green
Sniper Width 0

HooXi uses a medium-sized crosshair with a length value of 1.5, but also chose to shrink it with a thickness value of 0. Additionally, his crosshair gap is also very small at -3, which is one off from the bare minimum. Overall, this is a pretty standard crosshair.

HooXi Viewmodel Settings

Another set of settings you might want to consider copying is HooXi’s viewmodel settings. Having a good viewmodel is essential to becoming a better player since you can see more of your screen to increase your awareness. Here are the viewmodel settings HooXi is using.

Viewmodel Setting Value
FOV 68
Offset X 2.5
Offset Y 2
Offset Z -2
Presetpos 4

Like most professional players, HooXi uses the maximum FOV value of 68. However, he has slightly tweaked his viewmodel offset settings, especially on the Y and Z axes. Still, his viewmodel isn’t much different than what is most commonly used.

HooXi Viewmodel Config

If you want to try a different viewmodel than what most players are using, you can test out HooXi’s one using the following console commands below.

viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 2; viewmodel_offset_z -2; viewmodel_presetpos 4;

HooXi Video Settings

Next, we’re going to take a look at HooXi’s video settings.

HooXi Resolution and Aspect Ratio

The first set of video settings we’ll cover features HooXi’s in-game resolution and aspect ratio, which are two of the most important video settings.

Video Setting Value
Resolution 1280×768
Aspect Ratio 16:10
Scaling Mode Stretched
Brightness 80%
Display Mode Fullscreen

HooXi is actually using pretty uncommon video settings, as he has chosen to go with the 16:10 aspect ratio and the 1280×768 resolution. Though most players playing 16:10 often use black bars, HooXi decided to go with the stretched scaling mode. Additionally, his brightness is toned down all the way to 80%.

HooXi Advanced Video Settings

If you’ve never played 16:10 stretched, which is very rare, and wanted to try it out, here are HooXi’s advanced video settings so you can pair them up with it.

Video Setting Value
Boost Player Contrast Enabled
V-Sync Disabled
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency Enabled
NVIDIA G-Sync Unknown
Maximum FPS In Game 400
Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode 4x MSAA
Global Shadow Quality High
Dynamic Shadows Unknown
Model / Texture Detail Low
Texture Filtering Mode Bilinear
Shader Detail Low
Particle Detail Low
Ambient Occlusion High
High Dynamic Range Quality
FidelityFX Super Resolution Unknown

It is important to keep in mind that your game’s graphics will look terrible when playing on 16:10 stretched, so HooXi has lowered down almost all of his video settings to the minimum options. He prefers higher in-game performance over cool graphics.

HooXi Radar Settings

We have to remember that HooXi is an in-game leader, so the radar is one of the most important tools he must use properly.

Radar Setting Value
Radar Centers Player No
Radar is Rotating Yes
Toggle Shape With Scoreboard Yes
Radar HUD Size 1.17
Radar Map Zoom 0.35

Most of HooXi’s radar settings are pretty common, however, he has increased his HUD size to 1.17, meaning his minimap is much larger on his screen, and he has also zoomed out his map to 0.35, meaning he can see more of the map and check out what his teammates are up to.

HooXi Peripherals

Last but not least, let’s check out what gaming peripherals HooXi uses.

Peripheral Name
Monitor ZOWIE XL2566K
Mouse Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2
Keyboard Wooting 80HE Black
Headset Logitech G PRO X 2 Headset
Mousepad Logitech G640

It looks like he has a clear favorite for a specific brand, which is Logitech. However, he has chosen specialized brands for his monitor and keyboard.
