aceu CS2 Settings: Full Config, Crosshair & Peripherals

Brandon Winn, also known as “ACEU” or “-Ace,” is a former American professional Counter-Strike 2 player. He was an AWPer and played for several teams before switching to Apex Legends in 2019, retiring from Counter Strike.  Since ACEU retired before CS2 came out, there’s no list of his CS2 settings and gear. However, since CS:GO and CS2 are quite similar, you can use his CS:GO setup for playing CS2. This guide will show you how. We encourage you to use this list of CS:GO settings and gear as if it were for CS2, as it will give you similar results. However, if you're unsure, we recommend checking out the setups of other professional CS2 players, especially those with better stats and results.

ACEU CS2 Settings

Here are the settings ACEU used when playing CS:GO competitively as a rifler. We’ve included all the known details, such as mouse and video settings. Unfortunately, his crosshair settings remain unknown, as he has never shared his crosshair configuration publicly.

Mouse Settings

He used a relatively high mouse sensitivity of 1.54, allowing him to aim quickly without missing a shot, which was his style as a rifler. Here you have the full list of mouse settings.

  • DPI: 1232
  • Mouse Sensitivity: 1.54
  • Effective DPI (eDPI): 800
  • Hz: 500
  • Curvature: 1626 MPI

As you can see, he combines a relatively high mouse sensitivity with a much higher DPI value, making it a good mix for aiming quickly, especially when it comes to flicking. And it can also be useful for snipping if necessary, in case you decide to use a scoped rifle.

Although he used this configuration for playing CS:GO, you can use it for CS2 as well. And if you want to make the most out of it, we encourage you to buy the same mouse as ACEU, the Finalmouse ULX Pro Series.

Video Settings

Unfortunately, we have only been able to gather the following information regarding his video settings:

  • In-game Resolution: 1280×960
  • Refresh rate: 240 Hz
  • Scaling Mode: Stretched

It misses plenty of advanced settings, but ACEU has never released any information about it. If you don’t feel comfortable just fine tuning three settings, we recommend you to copy the video settings from other professional CS2 riflers. This is going to help you fully adapt your in-game configuration to match the standards of professional riflers, be it you want to play as a lurker or entry fragger.

This is all we know about ACEU’s in-game configuration for CS:GO, and consequently, CS2. Many settings remain unknown, and since he no longer plays CS, we might never know about all the settings he used as a professional CS:GO player back in the day.

ACEU CSGO Peripherals

Here is the full list of peripherals ACEU used for competitive CS:GO. Since CS2 is very similar to its predecessor, you can use the same equipment to play the new version of Counter-Strike.

Gaming Gear

Here you have the full list of ACEU’s gaming gear that you can use to play CS2 competitively, especially if you want to play as a rifler:

  • Monitor: BenQ Zowie XL2566X+
  • Mouse: Finalmouse ULX Pro Series

  • Headset: Apple Earpods
  • Mousepad: Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft XL

It’s going to be a substantial investment, but if you’re serious about playing CS2 competitively, it’s gonna be worth it. Because it will allow you to unleash your skills and expertise, by bringing you all the resources you need to excel in CS2.
