hostfile Command

Explore usage, syntax, and examples for the hostfile CS2 developer console command.

First, turn on the developer console. Go to Settings > Game Settings and switch "Enable Developer Console" to Yes.
Press the ` or ~ key on your keyboard to open the console.
Type in a command, or copy it from here, hit ENTER, and you’re good to go!

Sets the server's hosts file (default is hosts.txt). If no file name is given, it displays the current hosts file in use.

Optional. Specify the name of the hosts file to set for the server. If omitted, the command shows the current hosts file name.
