Glock Moonrise Star Patterns

The Glock-18 is one of the most used weapons in all of Counter-Strike, and how could it not be? It is the default starting pistol of the Terrorist side and the singular option in that weapon slot, making it an inevitable part of every single CS match. With such an extremely high usage rate, it becomes no surprise as to why players look for different weapon finishes for the Glock-18.

In comes the Glock-18 Moonrise, an inexpensive yet still beautiful skin for those not wanting to break the bank in their search for a nice upgrade to the traditional Glock look. It features a purple night design of a city’s skyline with a large moon looming over it. For a select few patterns, known as the Glock Moonrise Star Pattern, it comes with a small star that can be seen through a small metal opening on the top of the gun’s handle.

What Is The Glock-18 Moonrise?

The Glock-18 Moonrise first made its way to CS:GO on February 15, 2018 as part of the Clutch Collection. It is considered a Restricted or “Purple” skin, making it a significantly rare drop from opening a case. Its value currently ranges anywhere from $0.40 to upwards of $3, depending on the float value. The Glock-18 Moonrise also has a StatTrak variation, with the prices landing anywhere from $1 to around $6.

Glock-18 Moonrise Star Patterns

Out of the 1000 different seed patterns included with the Glock-18 Moonrise, only 44 of them can be classified as a “Star Pattern”

Unlike weapon finishes such as the Case Hardened, the Moonrise tends to have mostly similar aspects when it comes to various patterns. The closest one can get to a perfectly centered star that is completely visible through the small box are these patterns.

Glock-18 Moonrise Star Pattern Price

The Glock-18 Moonrise with a high-tier Star Pattern can certainly fetch an overpay from the standard market price. However, since the Moonrise in itself is an inexpensive skin and one that is commonly found, the overpay for this specific skin will not be too expensive. With a common market value of around $3-4 for its best float values, one can expect a Tier 1 Moonrise Star Pattern to cost $7 or $8 on third-party sites such as CS.MONEY.
