Valve’s October 3, 2025 update for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) has dropped and it’s packed with community maps, gameplay improvements and cosmetic goodies. Here’s the breakdown of everything that was added in the update.
Map Updates

Golden
- Updated to latest Community Workshop version, with community feedback and changes.
Rooftop
- Updated to latest Community Workshop version, with community feedback and changes.
Transit
- Removed from official matchmaking due to an entity name containing a racial slur. Co-designer Maxim “Rikuda” apologized for the oversight.
Palacio
- Updated to latest Community Workshop version, with community feedback and changes.
Gameplay and Scripting Fixes
- Instance.OnPlayerPing: Fixed player position data not being sent, making map scripting more reliable.
Cosmetic Additions
Dr. Boom Charms Collection: 22 New Grenade Charms.

2025 Community Stickers Collection: 29 New Stickers In The Counter-Strike Workshop.

Sugarface 2 Stickers Collection: 9 New Sugarface Stickers.

Additional Fixes and Improvements
- Sniper Scope Options: Players can now customize dot scale and sniper rifle scope thickness.
- Bullet Penetration Fixes: Regression in certain bullet penetration and wallbangs fixed.
- Stability: General stability improvements.
- Map Scripting: Callbacks after script reloads and missing logic fixed.
This update is part of Valve’s ongoing efforts to improve Counter-Strike 2 by listening to the community, improving gameplay and adding more cosmetic options.
