There has always been a massive market for skins in the game of Counter-Strike. It was huge in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, and it seems to have grown even more since the release of Counter-Strike 2… and the recent CS2 Armory update has added even more incredible skins to the already impressive selection.
The Armory update has created new ways to get cosmetic items – like charms, stickers and skins… you just need to build up your Armory credits and unlock new goodies. It has also added no less than three new weapon collections to CS2, as well as a new case – and each one has its own style and flavor. You’ll find skins with abstract patterns, some with a colorful graffiti style – all sorts. No matter what your taste, there’s bound to be something new you’ll love.
So, with that being said, here’s our list of the top 10 best skins from the Armory update that we think will be popular with CS2 fans worldwide – and a few bonus skins that are also well worth a mention!
Galil AR | Rainbow Spoon
First on our list is the Galil AR | Rainbow Spoon

This is an absolute stunner of a skin. The body of the weapon is completely filled with bright, colorful metallics – with a shimmery effect that really makes it catch the light. The main color scheme is blue, but there are also hints of green and purple, which add to the overall effect. In our opinion, it’s one of the best new releases… and would be a stunning addition to your weapon.
What we really appreciate about it though, is its price range! It’s pretty reasonable and great value for money. Not only is the Galil AR a decently priced assault rifle, but you can get this skin to decorate it, for as little as $37!
Desert Eagle | Starcade
Second on the list is the Desert Eagle | Starcade

This weapon skin very much reflects the whole of the Graphic Design weapon collection and is based on traditional print media. The body of the pistol has been completely covered with a brightly colored graphical print which makes it look like it’s a magazine cover. The patterns and colors look really decent on the massive size of the gun, and we think it looks perfect on the Desert Eagle.
The Desert Eagle pistol is always a popular weapon, particularly with pro players and when playing safe rounds… as one headshot is more than enough to kill the enemy. So, if you’re a master with the gun – and you want to make the weapon stand out, the Starcade skin is a superb choice.
AK-47 | B The Monster
In at number three we have the AK-47 | B The Monster:

This one is slightly more pricey than the last one – but it’s well worth it. It looks incredible… almost as if it could belong to the Dreams and Nightmare case collection. It covers the weapon’s body in creatures that look slightly disturbing in a funny way… but it still manages to have a nice, almost pleasant graffiti look to it.
What’s more, it’s for the AK27 – one of the most popular Terrorist weapons in the game. Not only is this assault rifle effective in all different game scenarios, but it’s one of the key tools for success – if you know what you’re doing!
If you decide to add the B The Monster to your inventory, then you’ll definitely stand out on the battlefield!
M4A1-S | Fade
Next, in fourth spot, we have the M4A1-S | Fade.

OK, I’ll put this out there from the beginning… this one isn’t necessarily an option for anyone who’s on a tight budget. But, if you don’t mind parting with a few hundred dollars, then this is a must-have. The Fade skin patterns are always popular with CS2 players and collectors – and, at long last, you can now get it for the M4A1-S, that popular Counter-Terrorist weapon.
The gun skin has a gorgeous metallic color gradient, from yellows to reds, blues to purples – and the different proportion of each of these colors will determine how rare (and thus how valuable) the skin is. Normally, you’ll find that those with patterns that cover the entire weapon of the body will be worth more – and given that this is such a big weapon, it’s not an easy find!
The skin is like the weapon… expensive, but a superb investment, especially if you want to make an impact on the CT side!
Zeus x27 | Dragon Snore
Halfway there – and the Zeus x27 | Dragon Snore comes in at fifth.

Here we have a much more affordable skin – but it’s still pretty – awesome. Funny, unusual and a bit weird, this is a great addition to any weapon! The skin gives your weapon a bright look, reflecting the clouds floating in the sky. At the center, there’s a dragon… but not a mean, scary looking dragon. It looks like a nice, cartoony dragon with angel wings. Think Dragon Lore skin… then flip it 180! You might not see dragons as sweet little angels… but this might change your mind
Some consider the Zeus x27 as risky as knives… as it needs to be used at close quarters. However, the kill will be instant. Want to add a bit of a heavenly vibe to your deadly weapon? Then this skin is hot property!
AWP | CMYK
In sixth place, we have the AWP | CMYK CS2 skin.

Next, we have another pretty costly new CS2 skin that you won’t find for less than a couple of hundred dollars. The skin is called the CMYK because it is based on those four ink palettes that are used in print media… Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key color (black). These colors come in all different variations and patterns, all looking rather impressive. Your AWP will have a mainly white body but with colored patterns on the scope, handle and muzzle. Indeed, this is graphic design at its finest.
Some consider the AWP to be the most iconic weapon in the entire game – because one single shot to the head will kill. It also has a wide range, so you can get in good angles all over the map. So, if you’re a good AWPer looking to add some color to your gameplay – then this is a dangerous combination.
Glock-18 | Gold Toof
Number seven on the list is the Glock-18 | Gold Toof.

This is a cheap fun skin that’s an awesome addition to any collection, in our opinion… and it starts out at only $10! Bargain! This skin will turn your weapon into a monster’s face baring its teeth and, as the name suggests, he has one gold ‘toof’… that he’s ready to use on your opponents with deadly effect. But his snarling tooth isn’t all that’s gold… the trigger is also gold, as is a small plate on the side, and there’s also a golden cog.
This is a weapon for terrorists… and it’s a skin that really can add terror to your weapon. It may not be your most used weapon, but why not make it fun when you do use it?
M4A1-S | Vaporwave
Getting to the latter part of our list, we have the M4A1-S | Vaporwave, taking the eighth position.

This skin has a classical art vibe to it, with a design that is based around Greco-Roman sculptures. It features the body of an ancient goddess surrounded by various artistic abstract elements like flower patterns spattered with blood.
One thing that we really love about this is that the designer of the skin has chosen to use the gun’s silencer as the goddess’ hand – and it almost looks as though she is the one shooting out bullets at your enemies.
The M4A1-S is a massively popular weapon for Counter-Terrorists – and we think that you might start seeing a few of these skins in the near future!
Desert Eagle | Tilted
In the penultimate position, we have the Desert Eagle | Tilted.

This is a nice cheap addition to any weapons collection – and it looks a lot more expensive than it actually is in our opinion.
The skin has a brightly colored pattern that has a white and green hue to it—and it looks a bit like a wall waiting for an artist to fill it with graffiti. This is an angry-looking skin for someone who wants to give off fierce, angry vibes. It depicts someone who looks as though they’re mid-argument… maybe a Terrorist arguing with a Counter-Terrorist… who knows?
This isn’t the easiest pistol to play with – but despite that, it’s still massively popular – and it gives you a real sense of satisfaction when you use it. If you want to add a bit of a fearsome vibe to it, then this skin is a nice, cheap way to do so!
P250 | Epicenter
Last on our list, but definitely not least, is the P250 | Epicenter skin.

If you’ve got a couple of dollars going spare, we know a great way to spend it… the P250 | Epicenter. This skin very much reflects what shooting is all about. It has an epicenter, which is where the bullet hits it – and then the wave effect that comes from it. It looks like a mix between a gun target… and the ripple effect of what bullets actually do in this world. In terms of color, it’s got stunning metallic plates, and it looks incredible.
The P250 is a weapon that works well… and it isn’t too badly priced. As such, the weapon and the skin are definitely a bargain addition to your inventory!
Other Skins Worth a Mention
While the top 10 skins from the CS2 Armory Update are definitely up there with the best, there are still a few others that we feel deserve some recognition. AWP | Crakow!
If you’re a fan of pop art-inspired designs and are scouting for AWP skins, then you might want to check out this little beauty, with its bright comic-book-style pictures and bold, explosive colors. As you’d expect from a comic book look, it has speech bubbles with sound effects like “BANG!” and “ZAP!” that all add a bit of a fun, action-packed vibe.
