Floppy CS2 Settings: Full Config, Crosshair & Peripherals

Ricky “floppy” Kemery is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from the United States of America, currently playing for Complexity Gaming. Floppy is one of the few North Americans that made it out of the Tier 2/Tier 3 scene, making him one of the most prominent riflers from the region. If you’re looking to play like floppy in Counter-Strike, check out his CS2 settings and peripherals here!

floppy CS2 Settings

First off, let’s take a look at floppy’s general CSGO settings.

Mouse Settings

Being one of the best riflers from your region is no easy task, but floppy has consistently been one of the greats from North America. Let’s see what mouse settings floppy uses to become a fierce rifler:

  • DPI: 1600
  • Mouse Sensitivity: 0.6
  • Effective DPI (eDPI): 960
  • Zoom Sensitivity: 1
  • Hz: 8000
  • Windows Sensitivity: 6

Right off the bat, floppy is using a very high mouse DPI value of 1600, but at least he reduces it with a mouse sensitivity of 0.6, which brings us to his effective DPI value of 960. Still, an eDPI of 960 is relatively high in professional terms, especially for a rifler since most riflers tend to play on lower eDPI for precision purposes.

Crosshair Settings

Copying floppy’s mouse settings isn’t the only thing you’ll need to play like him, as a crosshair is another essential tool you should consider mimicking. Here are the crosshair settings floppy uses:

  • Style: Classic Static
  • Follow Recoil: No
  • Dot: No
  • Length: 1
  • Thickness: 1
  • Gap: -7
  • Outline: No
  • Color: Green
  • Red: 50
  • Green: 250
  • Blue: 154
  • Alpha: Yes
  • Alpha Value: 255
  • T Style: No
  • Deployed Weapon Gap: No
  • Sniper Width: 0

Floppy is using a green-colored crosshair, which is a very common color choice. However, his crosshair is very small, with both length and thickness values of 1. Additionally, his crosshair gap is set to -7, which makes the crosshair lines almost inseparable. He’s pretty much playing with a glorified crosshair dot at this point, which is very interesting.

You can try out floppy’s crosshair by copying the crosshair code below:

Viewmodel Settings

The next thing we’re going to do is take a look at the viewmodel settings floppy uses. A good viewmodel will make you play better since your gun barrel will be positioned where you prefer.

  • Field of View (FOV): 68
  • Offset X: 2.5
  • Offset Y: 0
  • Offset Z: -1.5
  • Presetpos: 2

Floppy is using the most common viewmodel in the professional scene, which features the maximum FOV value of 68. Additionally, his viewmodel offset settings are also very standard, making floppy’s viewmodel settings very safe to copy and try out for yourself.

You can try out floppy’s viewmodel immediately by copying the following viewmodel commands below:

Viewmodel Config (Copy and Paste)
viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 0; viewmodel_offset_z -1.5; viewmodel_presetpos 2;

Video Settings

Now that we’ve gone through floppy’s essential game-related settings, we can move on to his video settings:

Video

The first set of video settings will cover floppy’s resolution and aspect ratio, which are the two most important video settings in the game:

  • Resolution: 1920×1080
  • Aspect Ratio: 16:9
  • Scaling Mode: Native
  • Brightness: 93%
  • Display Mode: Fullscreen

Though they are the default settings, it is still rare to see people like floppy use the 1920×1080 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. Most pros prefer playing on 4:3 stretched, but floppy prefers to keep it simple and play on the default native scaling mode.

Advanced Video

Though they aren’t too necessary to copy, take a look at floppy’s advanced video settings, too:

  • Enable Player Contrast: Enabled
  • V-Sync: Disabled
  • NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: Enabled + Boost
  • NVIDIA G-Sync: Disabled
  • Maximum FPS In Game: 999
  • Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode: 2x MSAA
  • Global Shadow Quality: High
  • Dynamic Shadows: All
  • Model / Texture Detail: High
  • Texture Filtering Mode: Bilinear
  • Shader Detail: High
  • Particle Detail: High
  • Ambient Occlusion: Medium
  • High Dynamic Range: Quality
  • FidelityFX Super Resolution: Disabled (Highest Quality)

Again, going against the norm, floppy has chosen to maximize almost all of his video settings. This is because he has the PC specifications to support it, so we don’t recommend players with weak computers to follow suit.

Other Settings

If you’re a huge floppy fan and want to learn more about his settings, let’s take a look at additional ones you can try out.

Launch Options

Advanced Counter-Strike players, especially professionals, love making use of launch options. Here’s what floppy uses:

Launch Options (Copy and Paste)
-novid -freq 240 -tickrate 128 +cl_interp_ratio 1 +fps_max 999 +r_dynamic 0 -allow_third_party_software

HUD Settings

Information plays a key role in the game, as it affects the decision-making process. Here are the settings floppy uses for his HUD:

  • HUD Scale: 0.95
  • HUD Color: Team Color

Radar Settings

Another important tool to consider is the radar minimap, which is crucial for map awareness. Let’s see what floppy is using:

  • Radar Centers The Player: Yes
  • Radar Is Rotating: Yes
  • Toggle Shape With Scoreboard: Yes
  • Radar HUD Size: 1
  • Radar Map Zoom: 0.3

floppy CSGO Peripherals

We’ve made it to the end, so let’s quickly uncover the gaming peripherals floppy uses to play CS2.

It looks like floppy has tried out various gaming brands, as he is using a different brand for each piece of gaming gear.

  • Monitor: ZOWIE XL2546
  • Mouse: Lamzu Maya
  • Keyboard: Wooting 80HE Black
  • Headset: Razer BlackShark V2 Pro
