CS2 Inspect Servers basically give you the perfect platform to inspect any skin within the game. Whether you own the skin or not, you can inspect it closely, capture screenshots of it – and you even try it out with various gloves, agents, backgrounds, and lighting settings. Indeed, this is a superb tool for fans of CS2 skins – allowing you to explore and really appreciate the intricate details of your favorite CS2 skins.

As it stands, the top choices for CS2 skin inspect links are the 45+ CS2 Inspect Servers by Epidemic and the 40 servers developed by ohnePixel. These servers are accessible to fans across all different regions, and they give you the chance to inspect your skins in the game on different maps.

Let’s take a look at how you can connect to both options below.

Option 1: How to Join a CS2 Skin Inspect Server – CS2Inspects

  1. First, you need to join Epidemic’s Discord server.
  2. Next, look for the verification channel called #verify yourself. Click on the thumbs-up emoji under “Click the emoji below to get verified!” to verify yourself.
  3. You’ll then need to navigate to the #inspect-ip channel under the #info category.
  4. Then, choose an IP address from the available options listed by map. Currently, there are 14 official or custom maps to choose from. Triple-click the IP address you wish to use and copy it.
  5. You then need to launch CS2.
  6. Next, you need to open the developer console using the tilde (~) key. If the console is not enabled, go to settings, search for “developer console,” select Yes in the “Enable Developer Console” option, and then press ~ to open the console.
  7. You’ll then need to paste the copied IP address into the console. If you didn’t copy it from Discord, type ‘connect’ before the IP address.
  8. You will then be automatically connected to the CS2 skin inspect server. If the server is full, you can use the auto-join feature from the community browser. Instructions for this feature can be found below the IP list in Epidemic’s Discord server.

How to Inspect Any Skin in CS2

Now that you’re on the server, here’s how to inspect skins on CS2:

  1. Find the inspect link of the skin. There are a few ways to do this:

Head over to CS2Inspects.com and select the skin/craft of your choice. Copy the Gen code (!g …) or the Combo code (!combo …). If you do opt to use this method, you can skip steps 2-4 of this paragraph.

OR…

Open up the inventory in your browser of the skin owner. Find the skin and scroll down to the gray ‘Inspect In Game’ button. Right-click on the button and then click ‘Copy Link Address.’

OR…

To inspect skins, you can also visit csfloat.com/db. Type in the skin name, select the condition, and add any stickers if applicable. Right-click on the magnifying glass icon and click ‘Copy Link Address.’

  1. Open up one of the three #get-gen-code channels in Epidemic’s Discord.
  2. Paste the skin’s inspect link into the chat.
  3. A bot will then reply to your message with a gen code. Copy the gen code.
  4. Join one of Epidemic’s servers in CS2.
  5. Open chat and paste the gen code. Within seconds, you’ll have the skin right there in your hands, allowing you to move around the map and inspect it against different backgrounds, game modes, angles, and lighting. You can even take screenshots or record a video of your inspection with recording software if you want to go into even more depth. This is the perfect way to inspect skins before committing funds.

With the update to the servers that happened on October 16, you can now also use the inspect links directly in-game. Simply type ‘!i insertinspectlinkhere’ in the text chat and you’re all set to go. However, you need to make sure to use the real inspect links, not the generated ones!

Option 2: ohnePixel Community Servers

Then, the renowned CS2 streamer ohnePixel has also recently introduced its own array of 40 CS2 Skin Inspect Servers spanning eight diverse maps. These servers are open to anyone, and to join, simply follow the steps below:

1: Join ohnePixel’s Discord Server: discord.gg/ohnepixel

2: Next, navigate to the #server-ips channel in the Skin Server category.

3: Then, scroll to the top of the channel.

4: You can then choose the map where you want to inspect skins and copy any of the provided IP addresses.

5: You’ll then need to launch CS2.

6: Open your developer console.

7: Following this, type “connect” followed by the IP address you copied, and you will be instantly connected to an inspect server.

8: You can then decide which skins you’d like to explore. Browse the Skin Database to discover various item categories.

9: Finally, once connected to a server, type ! is followed by the “inspect link” of a skin (learn how to obtain skin inspect links below), and you can generate any skin in CS2!

To get an inspect link, visit csfloat.com/db, then enter the name of the skin you want to inspect. You can select its condition and add any stickers if applicable. Finally, right-click on the magnifying glass icon and click “Copy Link Address.”

If you find a skin you want to add to your inventory, you can then simply look for the best price and add it to your skin inventory.
